This proposed project is of historical significance and value. The ship, SNARK, is a part of California's and San Francisco's Maritime Heritage and history. The SNARK was constructed and outfitted by two of San Francisco's turn-of-the-century shipyards — the ANDERSON and the CRYER yards.
